Travel Information

Granada's Airport is a quite small one, so there are little chances that you can find a direct flight arriving here. The closest big airports are Malaga and Madrid ones, but you might as well find a flight arriving to Almería or Seville. Below you can find some information on how to arrive to Granada from these cities:

From Malaga

Malaga is fewer than 150 km away from Granada. From the Pablo Picasso Airport you can easily reach the bus an train stations of the city either takin a cab outside the airport (it takes about 20 minutes to reach the city center from the airport, depending on the traffic) or by taking the urban bus number 19, that stops both besides the train station and inside the bus station. This local bus ticket costs around 1 euro, and the trips takes around half an hour.

Malaga-Granada by bus

The bus is the cheapest and fastest way to go from Malaga to Granada. Once in the bus station, find the "Alsina Graells" selling point and buy your ticket there. Usually you can find buses between the two cities every hour. A one-way ticket costs around 9 euro. A timetable is included below (please realize that some of the buses may not be avaliable every day):

From Madrid

Madrid has the biggest airport in Spain.

Madrid-Granada by bus

Bus connections between Madrid and Granada are frequent and cheap. A one-way ticket costs fewer than 15 euro. There are many bus stations in Madrid, but you can only travel to Granada stating in "Avenida de America" or "Estación Sur (Mendez Alvaro)". The timetables below are the ones corresponding to "Estación Sur", but every bus leaves 30 minutes earlier from "Avenida de America".

From Seville

Seville is farther from Granada than Malaga, and the airport is smaller. If it is the case that your flight ends there, again the fastest way to reach Granada is by bus.

Seville-Granada by bus

In Seville there are two bus stations. To travel to Granada you must go to "Prado de San Sebastian" station, and NOT to "Plaza de Armas". Timetable is included below:
