On-Site Accommodation at the Oakwood Resort

The conference is being held at the Oakwood Inn Resort, located on the shore of Lake Huron at Grand Bend. We have reserved two blocks of rooms at the Oakwood Inn, and other accommodation is available within walking distance in Grand Bend. Please be aware that the conference dates lie in the high tourist season so you should make your bookings as early as possible.

We have reserved a block of 50 "deluxe" rooms, guaranteed until April 30, at the special rate of CAD 165 (plus tax) per room per night. (The room rate is normally CAD 191 for single occupancy or CAD 242 for double occupancy during this period.)

We have also reserved a block of 10 "standard" rooms, also guaranteed until April 30, at the conference rate of CAD 135 (plus tax) per room per night. (The normal rate for these rooms is CAD 165 during this period.)

This rate is available for stays arriving on or after July 5 (the day before the conferences) and departing on or before July 13 (the day after the conference). Check in time is after 3:00pm, and check out time is by 11:00am.

To get these rates, you must contact the Oakwood Inn and book before April 30. You must also identify that you are participating in the CICM Conference. These rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please give students preference for the "standard" rooms.
